Slangenburg Castle
Slangenburg Castle was for the most part built around 1700 for Frederik Johan van Baer, nobleman and soldier. From this time also date the original painted ceilings, one of the oldest stucco ceilings and paintings by Gerard Hoet. Most of the furnishings come from the time of the last owners, the Passmann family. Stroll through the centuries-old corridors and listen to stories about the murals and former residents.
